Soulmates<3

Heehee, heel lang niet meer gepost maar nu weer een x een nieuwe blogg! Een paar weken geleden geschreven tijdens een les hahaha:) Wat anders deze keer, 't is namelijk in het Engels. Als je dat een probleem vind moet je t niet gaan lezen, en anders veel leesplezier;P

(het kan trouwens zijn dat er wat grammaticale foutjes zitten qua zinsopbouw en dergelijke maar goed ik doe men best hahah)

Soulmates?

What if a soulmate,
the concept of it would mean-
If it's true, at least-
That most of the world's population
Doesn't marry the person
They're meant to be with?
Or wouldn't that be possible,
If we're going to keep thinking
This concept is true?
Because some say
You'll always end up
With your soulmate,
But what's the chance,
What's the coincidence?
And why do people divorce-
Have they ever experienced true love
With that person they ultimately divorce?
Or was there love,
But just not true love?
Is there a difference,
And then,
What's the difference?
I don't know,
And maybe I'm way too young
To think about such complex things.
But how wonderful would it be
If true love exists
In a form of soulmates?
But how horrible would it be
If soulmates do exist,
But,
You'll never marry yours…
But then,
If that's true-
Do soulmates then exist?
But what if it doesn't exist?
Then,
How empty would this world be?
Love,
It does exist,
Of course.
But isn't it wonderful,
The thought that somewhere on This planet
Another half of you is waiting,
Waiting for the moment
The universe will let you meet.
Two hearts,
Two souls-
Forever connected,
Maybe without even knowing-
Isn't it lovely?
Oh, how I hope and want to believe
There is someone, somewhere
Waiting for me
For our hearts, Our souls to meet
And stay together forever
Till death us parts-
Like Noah and Allison,
Romeo and Juliet.
Everyone deserves such a story,
Such an experience like theirs.
Everyone deserves love
In such a cold, unloving, heartless world
Full of violence, hate and grieve.
So yes,
I do believe in soulmates-
And about the Reason,
I don't care.
